New Managing Director Announced
Barrie White is to be appointed the new managing director of (Prodec Southwest Ltd)
Barrie has been with the company for over ten years and is currently the operations director overseeing all aspects of the Decorating part of the Business.
Brothers Gary & Nick Mace the current managing directors felt the time was right to hand over the reins to Barrie after 27 years, Barrie has all the credentials to continue to take the company forward, increase growth and stability.
Barrie will still head up all painting & decorating aspects of the business along with taking over from the Mace brothers as MD.
Apprenticeships
August 2017 has seen Prodec take on the largest number of new apprentices on the (CITB) Supported scheme with a total of 15 recruits, and will continue to invest massively to help the business in the long term, as there is an immense shortage of qualified decorators within the industry.
Mastic Sealants Expansion
Due to the success of this part of the business, Prodec will be looking to increase the size of the Mastic Sealants operations by 75% over the next three years.
Already we are starting to see evidence of this, after just recently securing some large contracts for Linden Homes (Western).
